To keep and increase the solidarity in a work relationship is very important. The relationship that is built not only as work partner but also as kinship, to make each member in the work group more comfortable in carrying out their obligations. This was what underlied Outbound and Family Gathering of Faculty of Engineering UMS 2018 activity. The event was held on Sunday, April 29, 2018, and followed by Big Family of Faculty of Engineering UMS. The destination was Karangpandan, Karanganyar and the series of event was prepared by the committee. There were several activities that trained the solidarity and focus of each participant.
In the first agenda, the group was directed to Amanah Farm to taste fresh pecel in the morning. Then the next agenda was to train the solidarity and focus of each participant. The group was divided into four large groups. After that, each group had to catch the fishes, patch up the leaking pipe and play polo water games.
At the end of that activity, Ir. Sri Sunardjono, MT., P.hD as the Dean of Faculty of Engineering UMS advised to keep kinship and renew the spirit at work. “Hopefully later we will also be able to hold an outbound like this, in the heaven someday with this big family of Faculty of Engineering Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta”, he advised.
