In 2017, Faculty of Engineering UMS registered for two types of competitions, the fisrt is Energy Saving Car Competition which held by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education at the Kenjeran Circuit in Surabaya and the second is Shell Eco Marathon (SEM) which held in Singapore.
