In The 6th International Conference on Engineering, Technology, and Industrial Application (ICETIA) organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), as many as 224 researchers from 5 countries collided with research concepts.
There are more participants of the 6th ICETIA this year. Last year only 190, now there are 224 researchers from 5 countries. That is Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, and Laos, “said the Head of the ICETIA Committee, Agus Dwi Anggono, Wednesday (11/12).
ICETIA holds together with Mechanical Engineering, Science, and Technology (MEST2019) and Design and Industrial Application Engineering XVIII (RAPI), for two days, from December 11-12, 2019, at Alila Hotel Solo.
The primary theme in this international art event is “Smart engineering in the era of industrial revolution 4.0: renewable energy, resources, and materials”. This theme expects to be able to contribute to the development of engineering in Indonesia. Agus explained, the sixth ICETIA seminar has attended by 123 researchers on engineering, energy, and engineering.
For the 18th RAPI, 71 researchers participated in national issues of energy and engineering. Meanwhile, for the 3rd year, MEST was attended by 23 researchers, with a more specific study on technical materials. “The world level is starting to take into account ICETIA’s activities. Research papers will publish in international journals indexed by Scopus. These have an impact that the name of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta will increasingly exist and be global”, he said.
